It has a side-locking clamp on the lower side and is built to withstand harsh environments, providing resistance to various substances like drilling oil, diesel, ethyl alcohol, transmission oil, hydraulic oil, coolant, petroleum benzine, sweat, and water. It is conditionally resistant to acetone and premium gasoline, and unstable to UV and ozone. The housing is made of diecast aluminum with a powder-coated surface finish.
